How to Overcome Chronic Issues and Conflicting Values
In a world where people like to pick sides, we can mistakenly treat every challenge as if it’s a problem to be solved, with a right or wrong answer:
Change OR Stability
Structure OR Flexibility
Truth OR Tact
And when team members end up in this kind of tug of war, it feels like, no matter what, someone will lose. Leaders can easily identify there is TENSION but have no idea how to lead their team through it.
In this workshop, your group will:
- Learn a simple framework that helps them stop picking sides and tap into the superpower of “AND” thinking
- Develop the skills to communicate and collaborate effectively with people who hold different perspectives
- Improve decision-making skills when dealing with complex issues
This foundational workshop will help your leaders create a safe, challenging, and productive work environment to deal with chronic issues that are coming up again and again.
Book this workshop to help your group get unstuck and use the power of healthy tension to accomplish your important work.

- Promote planning AND action
- Value complexity AND simplicity
This workshop does not claim to provide you with a silver-bullet solution; instead, it offers something much more valuable: a practical, actionable blueprint to navigate change with skill and confidence.
Change is hard. Period. But, it doesn’t have to be a source of constant stress and overwhelm.

For Emotional Intelligence:
For Emotional Intelligence:
How to Gain Leadership Success Through Emotional Intelligence
The difference between a good leader and a great leader is their social and emotional abilities. As Daniel Goleman, author of Emotional Intelligence, says,
“The most effective leaders are all alike in one crucial way: they all have a high degree of what has come to be known as emotional intelligence.
Without it, a person can have the best training in the world, an incisive, analytical mind, and an endless supply of smart ideas, but they still won’t make a great leader.”
Emotional intelligence is not just talking about our feelings, it’s so much more than that.
Through this workshop, your leaders will learn how to:
- Effectively manage stress
- Develop healthy assertiveness
- Become more flexible
- Empathize with others
- Improve interpersonal relationships
The research is clear: people with healthy emotional intelligence have increased job satisfaction, outperform and earn more than their colleagues, and live with higher confidence and optimism.
Book this workshop to cultivate emotionally intelligent leaders who will drive your company’s growth and success.
* This workshop can also be expanded into a full day where each participant will take an assessment and receive a 21-page EQ report highlighting their strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for growth.

FAQs
Does my group have to do the foundational, healthy tension workshop first?
We wholeheartedly recommend you start with this workshop, as it has consistently been our most popular offering! However, many groups have chosen to begin with one of our other workshops, finding that the specific topic was a perfect match for their event.
Our goal is to assist you in selecting the ideal workshop tailored to your needs, and we look forward to collaborating with you during our call to make that happen.
Do I have to book more than one workshop at a time?
Not at all. Most people start by booking one! If you’re open to a “humble brag”…most groups love how easy we are to work with and receive such amazing feedback after their first workshop, they reach out again when it’s time to plan their next professional development event.
As you know, winning organizations invest in an ongoing rhythm of leadership and team development and we would be honored to be in it for the long haul with you and your leaders.
What if my leaders need all of the workshops?
Great question!
We have a certificate program your leaders can go through so they build all of the skills we listed in every workshop. Ask us about this on our call and we can talk about creating a special certificate program just for your leaders!
How long are the workshops?
They are all 3 hours in length. We can flex a little depending on your event schedule.
We’re excited to get into all of your event details on our call!
Who is this program designed for?
Our workshops are perfect for all working professionals, but critical for anyone who leads a team (your leaders, supervisors, and managers).
Do you offer any shorter workshops?
Yes! Ask us about our virtual Masterclasses!
They are one-hour and a great way to provide micro learning for your team over a 3-6 month period. Every class, you’ll have a facilitator and a producer leading everything so you can sit back and relax!
Do you only offer workshops in-person?
We offer both in-person and virtual workshops. No matter which option you pick, your workshop will contain the perfect blend of fun AND impactful content.
Where do you travel to do workshops?
We have workshop facilitators who love to work in Canada and the USA. They also love to travel to other destinations when it’s the right fit! We’ve done workshops on almost every continent.
Do the fun activities in your program make people uncomfortable?
We love that you asked this question! It is a big concern and we’re glad to have the opportunity to address it. The feedback we receive from EVERYONE after a workshop is that the fun and connecting activities are actually the best part.
People are so grateful to have an excuse to have a good time together and that’s why we’ve used our 30+ years of experience to select activities your attendees will enjoy.
